As part of the new changes to California’s recycling program, CalRecycle held an informal public workshop on December 18th to solicit feedback from the industry for draft regulatory language to implement SB 1013, which, as of this year, includes wine and distilled spirits bottles. This is an opportunity to weigh in on important details, such as bottle labeling, including the use of QR codes, reporting frequency, and “pay on behalf of” agreements related to direct shippers.
